Bible studies:
As a diligent student of the Bible, you will want to make sure the Bible really says what this study says. Always remember to test all things with God's word - as the Bereans did. They "received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily, to see whether these things were so" (Acts 17:11). First, read the study all the way through, without looking up the Scriptures. Then read the study again, this time looking up the Scriptures. Highlight or mark each verse you look up so you can easily find it later. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ God is good because God does good (Psalm 145:17). God's word says He repays the good and evil we do daily (1 Peter 3:12, Eph. 6:8). God wants us to be good so He can bless us (Psalm 125:4). We can't be good unless we do good, and we must practice righteousness to do good. God constantly does good because He is good. We must constantly do good so we can be considered righteous, holy and blameless before God. Gods Ways are righteous and when we practice righteousness, we are living by Gods Ways. Gods Ways are holy and when we practice living holy by keeping Gods Ways, we are considered holy by God (1 John 3:7). Gods Way is blameless, and all who live for God by serving others are living as God lives and are, therefore, considered blameless (Job 1:1, 8; 2:3; Gen. 6:9). Job knew that according to Gods word, he was not guilty of sin (Job 10:7). His sins were in a bag (Job 14:16-17). He knew he was a just and blameless man, even though his friends did not think so. They thought he was a joke (Job 12:4). But Job was the one who spoke what was right before God (Job 42:8). All Gods true disciples are servants of others for God. They put no confidence in the flesh, in which there is no good thing (Phil. 3:3). What a wonderful day it will be when Jesus Christ comes, when all people will love each other by serving their neighbors and practicing hospitality toward one another. Everyone will be learning to love others in a selfless way because they will be serving others for the glory of God (Matt. 5:16; Col. 3:17). Yes, it pays to be good for God because then He can bless us and bring us into the good life, which is the life that God lives (Acts 3:26). (Feel free to give copies of this study to others who want to know Gods truth. You will be doing Gods Will when you show and tell others how to live this special Way.) Bible studies:
