Bible studies:
As a diligent student of the Bible, you will want to make sure the Bible really says what this study says. Always remember to test all things with God's word - as the Bereans did. They "received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily, to see whether these things were so" (Acts 17:11). First, read the study all the way through, without looking up the Scriptures. Then read the study again, this time looking up the Scriptures. Highlight or mark each verse you look up so you can easily find it later. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Jesus always did things that pleased the Father (John 8:29). He did this by constantly doing the Fathers Will instead of His own (John 6:38). He was constantly doing righteousness in regard to all His deeds (Psalm 145:17). He gave money to the poor (John 13:29). He helped those who had no helper. He gave money to people, expecting nothing in return (Luke 6:35). He was constantly giving and doing good for the Father and, as a result, He never gave in to temptation (Luke 6:38; 1 Peter 3:13; Matt. 4:10). Jesus was overcoming by doing good (Rev. 3:21). Jesus told people they should repent and live the righteous life by glorifying the Father with good works and thus, be lights and examples to others (Matt. 5:16; Titus 2:14). He loved His enemies and proved it by doing good to them (Matt. 5:44). By living to please only God in His life and by doing Gods Will instead of His own, He showed us how to be perfect (Matt. 5:48). Jesus did so many acts of kindness, it would be impossible to record all the good things He did (John 21:25). Jesus glorified the Father while He was here on earth by doing His Fathers Will as it is done in heaven (John 7:17; 17:4; Matt. 6:10). By performing these acts of kindness, Jesus overcame His fleshly nature (Rom. 8:3; 12:21; John 16:33). He was made perfect because He was involved in the perfection process - the process God gave Jesus Christ to show people how easily it could be done (Heb. 5:9; 12:23; John 5:19; Matt. 11:29-30). It had to be easy and pleasant because God is not calling many who are wise, but the lowly (1 Cor. 1:26-27). Yes, where there is a will, there is a way. Now you know the Will, so now you know the Way. Follow the example of Jesus Christ and overcome (Eph. 5:1). (Feel free to give copies of this study to others who want to know Gods truth. You will be doing Gods Will when you show and tell others how to live this special Way.) Bible studies:
